Deadly Arts

Students from Room 1 have recently completed an amazing mural project in conjunction with artists from the Song Rooms Deadly Arts program . Artists Seantelle and Charlotte, worked with our year 6 students to develop two unique pieces that demonstrate the connection between community and the Dianella Education Precinct. Through the support of the program students have developed their understanding and knowledge of local art and traditions. The bright and colourful murals that are now displayed in our entrance way interweave traditional story telling techniques with our schools values and philosophies. Make sure you take the time to appreciate our ‘moorditj’ artwork as you come into the school.
