Parking
Dear Parents and Carers
As we are having a larger number of students returning to school, we are also experiencing increased traffic congestion and issues. Parents are asked to follow road and parking rules to ensure all students safety. The amount of doubling parking and cars stopping in the middle of the road to pick up or drop off students is a real concern. At the moment Dianella Education Support Centre has set up a kiss and drive and I encourage parents of older students to use this when picking up their children if possible. We have been in contact with the City of Stirling and they will be developing this as permanent Kiss and Drive. If you would like to use this facility please talk to your children and have them meet you there.
I would ask that parents please follow these rules:
Do not park in the bus bays
Do not double park/stop in the middle of the road to drop off/pick up students
Do not park/drop students on neighbours lawns
Do not drive into the staff car parks
Parents of older student may also like to consider picking students up 5 or 10 minutes later. At 3.10 there is a large amount of car parks available and there is always someone providing supervision at the front of the school until this time.
Thank you for your assistance in this safety concern.
