School Development Day

Dear Parents and Carers

I would like to update our school community on our upcoming school development day. Friday 29 May was originally planned to be our Term 2 school development day. In light of the ongoing situation with Covid 19 we have decided as a school precinct; Dianella Primary College, Dianella Secondary College and Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre to postpone this day. Our new school development day will be held in Term 3 on Monday 20 July.

Although Tuesday 28 April was a pupil free day, this was not an official school development day, but was a mandated day for all WA Schools to prepare for students return to school with new Covid 19 measures.

2020 Remaining school development days and student attendance

Monday 6 July - school holidays start

Monday 20 July - pupil free day (new date replacing Friday 29 May)

Tuesday 21 July - students return to school after school holidays

Friday 21 August - pupil free day

Monday 28 September - school holidays start

Monday 12 October - students return to school after school holidays

Friday 13 November - pupil free day

Monday Thursday 17 December - students last day for the year

Friday 18 December - pupil free day
