Week 9 Update

Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to Emerald who were our recent faction carnival winners. The students had a fantastic day competing in individual and team games. Thankfully the weather was kind to us and we didn’t receive any rain during the day. I was particularly pleased on the day to see all of the team work and support for fellow competitors that was on display.

Congratulations also to our individual champion girls and boys and the runners up.

A huge thank you also to our hard working P&C Committee who ran the food stall and organised our school raffle. It was very much appreciated on the day and I believe that over $1000 was raised. Well done! Thank you to all of those families who donated items for the cake stall.

Interschool Sport

Well done to all of our students who participated in the Interschool sports carnival today held at Boyare Primary School. With jumps and throws being held on Wednesday and the team game and running races today we look forward to hearing how all of our students went. Thanks again to Ms Farmer for all of her hard work organising the teams and training our students. Good luck!

Fathers Day Box Car Creations

Last Friday we had some special visitors into our Pre Primary classes - lots of our dads and granddads (along with a few mums) came in for a special fathers day box car creation activity. It was great to see so many dads getting involved and I know all of the students certainly enjoyed having them in the classroom, it was certainly very memorable for the students.
