Week 4 Honour Certificates

Congratulations to our students who have been recognised for their hard work and received an honour certificate at our week 4 assembly. Well done to all of our students for their continued demonstration of our school values of Harmony, Perseverance, Responsibility and Innovation.

We also need to acknowledge our fantastic choir and Mrs Davey who performed at the assembly. The students sang beautifully, presenting the song SOS. A song sending a strong message about our responsibility to look after the planet.

As of next week we will be reintroducing our Waste free Wednesday’s. Each Wednesday we are asking parents (and students) to try to minimise the amount of rubbish they are producing. We encourage families to stop using single use plastics and instead use reusable containers. Change single serve packets of snacks for a large bag spread out over the week in a small container and buying a reusable drink bottle will reduce the use of single use plastic drink bottles. The tap water in Australia is some of the best in the world and it is free. Not only are we helping the planet, but also helping the family budget.
